Charles Jasper Dillon (son of Janie Tarter & Carl Edwin Dillon) married Mary Elizabeth Miller 4 Jan 1945 in Tarrant Co, TX. She was born 24 Sep 1925 in Wytheville, VA and just celebrated her 86th birthday--still very much alive and kicking!!

It was always confusing for people--
    My uncle Herman Dillon married Mary Elizabeth Shepherd (called Elizabeth)
    My dad Charles Dillon married Mary Elizabeth Miller (called Mary). 
During WWII, the gov't would mix their allotment checks up as they were both going to Mrs. Mary Dillon.
